Why signing up was the best decision I made!

I’d been following Cheryl on social media for quite a while before I plucked up the courage to sign up for her 12-week plan last September. I’d tried some of her recipes and loved them, but after a really tough year—stress at work, mid-forties health worries, and being so anemic I could barely climb the stairs—I knew I needed to do something more. I’d lost confidence, my hair was falling out, and I felt utterly rubbish. Years of poor sleep and bad eating habits had caught up with me: I’d often skip breakfast and lunch, then end up inhaling a pack of custard creams or Haribo by the evening and convinced myself the healthy evening meal was enough.

At first, I just wanted to lose a bit of weight and eat better—but what I’ve gained has been so much more than that. Cheryl’s support helped me shift my mindset completely. Her cookbooks have genuinely changed how I eat, and the whole family now enjoys the meals too. I never skip breakfast anymore, I eat regularly, and I love that I can still enjoy a sweet treat—just one made from her recipes!

I initially found the calorie deficit and protein goals a real struggle, but Cheryl was there every step of the way. Her approach is so down-to-earth and realistic, and she never makes you feel silly for asking questions or having a wobble.

In January, I joined her run club. My first goal was to run for more than 10 minutes without needing to stop for breath. Then it was a 5k. Now I’m regularly running 10k+ and training for my first half marathon! The community of inspirational women she’s brought together is like nothing I’ve experienced before—uplifting, supportive, and so welcoming.

I also joined Cheryl’s Ladies That Lift class and conquered a long-held fear of walking into a room full of people I didn’t know. That alone was a huge step for me, and I’m so proud I did it.

I’ve gained so much from this journey—better sleep, increased confidence, and most importantly, a new understanding that it’s not about weight loss, but about health, strength, and long-term fitness. I’ve finally realised that change takes time, consistency is key and am enjoying seeing the physical changes as well as all the mental ones.

I’m a little nervous about continuing on my own, but I feel motivated and reassured knowing that Cheryl is always there. She gives up so much of her time for free—her posts on socials are so motivating, and I absolutely love being part of the amazing community she’s created.

I came to Cheryl as I was in a rut with my food choices and lifestyle. Cheryl was so welcoming we got started and I really enjoy cooking for Cheryl’s cook books as the dishes weren’t too complicated and the kids could enjoy them also.

The support was great and always felt like I could go to Cheryl whenever I needed her advice. I have adapted to the plan I was giving and will go forward continuing to follow it each day. This is the kickstart I definitely need and thankful I got the courage to ask Cheryl for the support which has helped me so much.

20 Week Summer Body

I’d got to a stage in life (after menopause) where I thought that was it, I was never going to lose the extra weight I was carrying, especially around my middle! I’d lost motivation and I’d start a diet half heartedly only to give up not long after.. My mindset literally changed when I made the best decision of my life and joined Cheryl’s 20 week summer body plan! Cheryl is an amazing coach, inspiring and absolutely down to earth! She is always there for you and she’s been where you are.. so can totally relate to all your worries or concerns.

I’ve realised by doing this programme that I’m stronger mentally than I thought I was. I’ve finally found an amazing nutrition plan, a coach who I know is 100% supporting me and an online team chat group that supports each other. I honestly can’t believe that the person I now look at in the mirror is me! I’ve not been this weight for years! I honestly feel like I’ve found the secret formula and that most definitely is Cheryl nutrition and fitness coach! So much so, I’ve signed up for another block, absolutely love it!

I met Cheryl in September 2024 when I signed up for her beginners running group, from the day I went to that first run she inspired me, she is the most supportive, encouraging, down to earth person you will ever meet. In January this year I decided to take my training to the next level and started 1-1 & online coaching with her, Cheryl picked my confidence up off the floor and worked so hard to change my opinions especially of myself, she made me believe in myself even when I thought I couldn’t and constantly pushes me to achieve my best, Cheryl inspired me so much I decided to train to be a personal trainer myself & with her guidance and support she has got my running half marathons, lifting weights I didn’t think was possible & believing in myself for the first time ever! I’m so thankful everyday that I met her that day, absolute heart of gold and the best coach ever ❤️❤️ xx

20 week transformation

I had followed Cheryl for a while before contacting her before Christmas for help and advice. I had been putting weight on even tho I was exercising. Enough was enough when I was on holiday last year and I saw myself in a bikini. I felt horrible. I started my plan in January and can honestly say it has changed my mindset completely. I couldn’t believe how much I could eat whilst sticking to my calorie deficit. I have hardly ever been hungry and even had a treat every night. I have lost over a stone and feel so much better in my clothes. So if there is anyone out there wondering whether to start a plan do not hesitate to contact Cheryl. She is always at the end of the phone if you are having a wobble and I just want to say a big thank you for getting me back on track. I’m ready to do this on my own from here on xxxx
